Presidential Vision for Urban Sanitation

We have identified urban sanitation as a niche for job creation and  restoring national pride. I will ensure the adoption of a national solid waste management policy that promotes entrepreneurship and job creation. I will closely follow the launch of this program in Kinshasa.

In his five-year plan focused on six key commitments, including job creation and national economic diversification, President Félix Tshisekedi has made sanitation one of the three Presidential Initiatives, alongside the Local Development Program (PDL 145 Territories) and the Agricultural Transformation Program (PTA).
